Report Of 12th Inter-House Soccer Tournament

“Whoever invented soccer should be worshipped as a God” is the thought in the minds of our Suncitizen soccer players when they are out in the field either preparing for or actually playing the match. With this spirit in each mind, Suncity School organized its 12th Inter house soccer tournament.

 The match was played in a series of league matches between all four houses in the month of December 2018.Atlantic and Indian houses scored the maximum points in the league matches and reached the finals. It was held on January 25, 2019.  

While the match was being played in the field, the enthusiasm and great zeal displayed by our players was so infectious that the audience watching it from there felt like going and playing with them. The final match was interesting and kept us spellbound. The winner was the Atlantic house. The other team also took it in the same sportsman spirit and gracefully congratulated the winning house. Team work and camaraderie of all the players was a joy to behold. It culminated in prize giving ceremony. Throughout the tournament, one was constantly reminded of the same spirit that is displayed by the world class soccer players.
